Day 1: CUSCO-CALCA-BAÑOS TERMALES DE LARES-HUACAHUASI.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 6:00 am and we will go for 1 hour until the town of Calca where we will have a bit stop to have breakfast, we will continue driving for more 3 hours through Andean landscapes until arriving the town of Lares (3100.m.s.n.m.).Where we will start hiking, this day you will have the opportunity of observing small Andean towns and herds of llamas and alpacas. Before to start the hike we will visit the thermal baths of Lares, where we will be for around 2 hours, then we will uphill for 2 hours until the town of Vilcabamba, where we will have lunch and take a rest. We will continue hiking uphill for more 2 hours until the town of Wacahuasi where we will camp.

Day 2: WACAHUASI-ABRA IPSAY-IPSAYCOCHA.

We will wake up at 6:00 am and after having a delicious and nutritive breakfast we will visit the beautiful town of Wacahuasi, where the houses are built with stones and thatched roofs. This day we will have the opportunity of learning about the textiles techniques besides to observe the weaving process of Chullos, gloves, scarfs and other items. In the afternoon, after having lunch we will ascend for 2 hours until the Ipsaycocha Pass located at 4500.m.a.s.l.from where will observe beautiful snow capped mountains and will get into contact with Andean gods. We will descend for around 1 hour until arriving to the Ipsaycocha lagoon where will have our second campsite.

Day 3: PATACANCHA-OLLANTAYTAMBO-AGUAS CALIENTES.

After our breakfast we will hike for 3 hours until the town of Patacancha, the people of this zone are known as “huayruros” a black and red seed and according to the stories, people who have those seeds are very lucky in love, health and money, besides it reflects the color of their ponchos. After visiting the town, we will continue hiking for 2 more hours until the town of Willoq, where our transport will be waiting to take us to Ollantaytambo where we will have lunch and take a rest. We will board the train at 16:36 pm or 19:00 pm depending of the train available schedules and we will go toward Aguas Calientes, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 4: AGUAS CALIENTES- MACHUPICCHU-CUSCO.

This day will be for sure the most fascinating for you, because you will see Machupicchu in all its glory from dawn. We get up at 5:00 am and after our breakfast we will go to the bus station for boarding the first bus that leaving at 5:30 am to be in Machupicchu at 6:00 am. Inside Machupicchu we will have 2 hours guided tour where you will visit the most remarkable places such as: el torreón semicircular, el templo de las tres ventanas, el intihuatana, el templo del cóndor, la sala de los morteros y el baño del inca. Then you will have free time to explore Machupicchu by your own or descend to Aguas calientes (Lunch in not included). In the afternoon you will board the train from Aguas calientes to Ollantaytambo, place from where you will be transported by touristic bus to Cusco. Estimated arrival to Cusco (20:00 pm).
